This 5-ounce plant and seed guard fabric creates a great micro-environment for vulnerable seedlings. Compared to the 60 to 65% average seed germination rate using straw or hay, this gardening fabric provides a 90 to 95% average seed germination rate. Whether it be a chilly fall or a frosty winter day, this spunbond fabric will help protect seeds so they can successfully germinate and grow. The fabric is also UV-treated and reusable, which makes it an economical way to protect your grass and garden season after season.
Unlike some other plant protection structures, this plant and seed fabric can be installed quickly and easily over large areas. Simply cover the area you would like to be protected from the elements, secure it using DeWitt Repins or Anchor Pins, and your plants will have an instant and warmer refuge.
