EIGHT ( 8 )DIAMOND FREE FALL BADGE
Back in 1962 the Parachute Club Of America issued silver jump wings with the amount of jumps within the top of the shield.
The first gold wings, representing 1000 jumps, were presented to Mr. Joe Crane at the 1962 National tryouts for the U.S. Team.
As freefall time increased the USPA created the freefall badge. The badge has the wings mounted on an 1.5" square background.
The gold badge is issued to a person who has accumulated 12 hours of time in freefall.
Diamonds are added to the badge for each additional 12 hours of freefall.
24 hour freefall badge- 1 diamond,
36 hour freefall - 2 diamond, 48 hour 3 diamond, 60 hour 4 diamond, 72 hour 5 diamond
84 hour 6 diamond, 96 hour 7 diamond, 108 hour 8 diamond & 120 hour 9 diamonds. Starting w/ 132 hours 1 ruby to continue.
Example: A jump w/ a 60 second delay = 1 minute. 108 hours is approximately 6480 jumps.
I am selling an eight diamond free fall badge representing 108 hours of freefall

Note: I have had comments as to the high price. I feel they are inexpensive when compared to the below estimated cost.
6480 jumps @ $ 25 = $ 162,000 + Equipment + many years of week-ends + motels, meals & travel
